.The Specialist, Learning and Development, working under general direction, is responsible for supporting planning, implementing, and coordinating training and development activities, with consistency in a timely manner. This role will conduct daily operations including assessing enterprise-wide training and development needs and providing training documentation, performance tracking, and training delivery. Additionally, the role will also be responsible for staying updated on trends and industry practices within the Learning and Development domain, collaborating with teams to implement training programs, and ensuring compliance with policies. The role would also maintain accurate and confidential records and data related to Learning and Development matters.**Education**:- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree (preferred) in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience.**Experience**:- Minimum 3 years of work experience with a Master's degree or 5 years of work experience with a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Learning and Development, or a related field.Licenses and Certifications:- Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) (preferred)- SHRM Certified Professional (preferred)- Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (preferred)Work Requirements:- Involves occasional (defined as one-third or less of the time) lifting of no more than 10 pounds at a time. Work is performed primarily in a seated position and entails no significant stooping, standing, climbing, walking, etc. Many sedentary jobs require good use of the hands and fingers for repetitive hand-finger actions. Working conditions occur within low to moderate noise levels related to the use of standard office or classroom equipment.- Coordinate and work with all the departments of ChEP who will conduct needs assessments and identify skill/knowledge gaps.- Participates in the testing of new training programs and provides valuable feedback to ensure successful future training deployment initiatives. Monitors and evaluates the progress of trainees and the effectiveness of training using both formal and informal, written, and other evaluation tools.- Participates in the delivery of enterprise-wide Learning and Development special projects to identify skill gaps, training needs and develop new training delivery methods by representing the team as the prime contact, coordinating with senior internal and industry personnel, integrating data and information from multiple sources to identify trends, and evaluating multiple tangible and intangible variables to develop solutions.- Coordinates with cross-functional teams and external vendors for formulating effective programs for all types of employee training and skills needs. Delivers Learning and Development specific communications and policies related to training facilitation and delivery as per established processes
