Sr. Accounting Supervisor I

Career Area:Accounting**Job Description**:Supervision activities for Field service, Service parts, Overhaul accounting / invoicing activities for Americas.- Month end closing reporting- Performs monthly account reconciliations and analysis of the Balance Sheet accounts.
Independently identifies, investigates and resolves variances- Ensure compliance with the legal standards as well as with organization's policies and procedures- Supports month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities- Ensures accurate recording of transactions in accounting systems, including general ledger journal entries in accordance with GAAP and compliance to internal policies- Experience with accounting and reporting at least 8 years- Strong background in internal controls- English language skill is a must- Additional language is nice to have- Communication skills- Standard experience with excel- Master's degree in Accounting / Finance- Accounting Certification is an asset- ERP system knowledgeCaterpillar is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO).Not ready to apply?
