**Job Title** Procurement Buyer, Indirect**Reports to **Procurement Manager / Procurement Supervisor**Department** Procurement Mexico**Job Location **Monterrey**Summary****Responsibilities**:MATERIAL PROCUREMENTLead the development and management of sourcing plans to proactively identify sourcing needs in support of business needs. Lead sourcing events and negotiations to achieve cost savings and cost avoidance targets, including large Request for Proposal (RFP) and other competitive bidding events including conducting due diligence on suppliers, contacting suppliers to communicate requirements, evaluating, optimizing, and negotiating received bids and summarizing findings with the Business Owner. Utilize spend analytics to identify areas of sourcing/savings opportunity in assigned categories.SUPPLIER MANAGEMENTManaging, assessing and evaluating suppliers and provide periodical supplier performance report. Working alongside Business Owners to manage the supplier relationships to ensure service levels and contractual obligations are met.Develop and maintain Master Service Agreements (MSA's), other contracts, and a list of preferred suppliers.POLICY & PROCEDURE IMPLEMENTATIONEnsure all purchases are conducted in compliance with Hershey Global Procurement Policy with proper documentation, processes and meet company systems requirements.Ensure the practice of the Hershey's Code of Ethical Business Conduct.**Minimum knowledge and skills**- Strong personal and professional values, impeccable integrity and the energy level and stamina required to meet the demands of the position.
