ZF allows vehicles to see, think and act.In the four technology domains of Vehicle Motion Control, Integrated Safety, Automated Driving, and Electric Mobility, ZF offers comprehensive product and software solutions for established vehicle manufacturers- ZF is looking for a Program Buyer for our location in Monterrey._**Responsabilities**:- Support projects through procurement of all materials needed for a particular end product- Support the implementation of the ZF commodity strategies- Manage the whole purchasing process for new products or localization of existing products through supplier search, Bill of Material cost management; support the commodity organization in their request for quotations, commercial negotiations, contractual agreements including warranty and consignment agreements, prototype orders, and purchase orders and/or scheduling agreements.- Monitor the performance of the suppliers during program launch and through product life cycle- Continuously review cost performance to target; nominate parts for Global Competitive SourcingAnalyze North American supply base to prepare and recommend suppliers to be added/removed from the approved supplier list as well as nominate suppliers for the Strategic Supplier List.Perform duties as assigned**Skills/Experience**:- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or Business Administration, Economics or related field- 0 - 10 years of relevant experience in a professional purchasing capacity (i.e. technical/commodity purchasing, purchasing project management, purchasing management, etc.).
