These include: Statement of Requirements, Technical Review of Proposals, Design and Build Review, Machine Runoff, Installation at GM Site, Debug and Startup, Ramp-up support.The Controls Engineer follows the lead of the GPS Manufacturing Engineer. He/she specializes on Machine Controls & Automation as described in section IV.Along with the GPS ME, the Controls Engineer is responsible for the timely delivery of the OEM Machinery & Equipment and for ensuring a Flawless Launch. Also, that the M&E fulfill GM's safety and productivity requirements.The 7 level Sr. Controls Engineer differentiates from the 6 level Controls Engineer for any or both of the following: a) functional/technical skills, b) leadership and managerial skills. The 7 level Sr. Controls Lead is usually responsible for one whole GPS manufacturing plant (e.g. Engine, Transmission, Foundry and Battery).I.Knowledge, Skills, Experience, and CompetencesPlease indicate specific knowledge, skills, and experience required to carry out position responsibilities.
