Sr. Ehs Engineer 2

Responsibility: Develops, implements, and monitors company environmental programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental agencies regulations, and compliance with clients requirements. Maintains equipment inventory, performs periodic inspections, monitors hazardous waste removal vendors, and may assist in consolidating hazardous wastes (chemical and/or medical). Interacting with a variety of departments, conducts training in emergency response and hazardous material handling. Monitors environmental compliance and maintains liaison with appropriate regulatory agencies. Recommends corrective action where environmental health and safety hazards exist. Implements continuous improvement on existing Procedures and Work instructions based on collected data and analysis.Environmental engineers work on a variety of projects, such as:Conduct hazardous-waste management and strengthening internal processes to assure no impact to environment and compliance with laws; Design protocols based on norms and laws; Design systems for municipal and industrial water supply and wastewater treatment; Research and design a preventive program to reduce environmental impact on VOCs, gases, chemical control, and waste; Design and leada roadmap to net zero.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or 6 years of experience with manufacturing in an environmental role.Experience with ISO 14001 and environmental regulatory requirements on air, water, soil, and waste.Proficient in Microsoft Office. Ability to perform day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork. Proficient in English (90%).Ability to prioritize and manage one's own time effectively and to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish the work.#J-18808-Ljbffr
