For this role we're requiring the following experiences:Mfg Engineer is responsible for planning and maintaining the production process, equipment layout and work instructions for on manufacturing assembly cells. The role has focus on current production performance and CI- Maintain production targets of quality, productivity, cost effectiveness and delivery- Collaborate with cross functional teams on product issues, aware of the status of customer and design driven product changes and ensuring ECOs are processed per company procedures- Participate and or lead the planning of capital equipment associated with the manufacturing process- Ensure process routers and standard work instructions are current and in use in the production stations- Support production in reducing/eliminating equipment and tooling downtime or scarp, utilizing food analytical methodologies- Develop preventive maintenance steps and communicate requirements to Maintenance team. Ensure appropriate spare parts are listed in the systems- Respond to production issues (safety, quality, machine down) with high urgency to contain problems and perform root cause problem solving for continuous improvement- Key member of the Value Steam performance team and is accountable for safe processes, OEE, first time quality performance, line availability, mean time between failure (MTBF) and downtime performance - among others.- Create and maintain Process Flow, PFMEA, Standard Operating Procedures and Line documentation- Drive continuous improvement projects and initiatives generating financial cost savings for the plant- Sets the example and establishes the expectation regarding required personal protective equipment and safe work practices- Initiate actions to prevent the occurrance of any non-conformance relating to product, process and systems.
