Be a part of a team of Quality Engineers that applies its expertise and knowledge in finding innovative, cost-effective means to improve quality output and continuous improvements. You will drive process initiatives that ensures compliance with customer requirements, regulatory agencies, government regulations and engineering specifications while instilling site accountability for governance of the Quality System, product acceptance and, product quality. Solve problems where analysis of a situation is required in order to meet the requirements of the customer. Uses problem analysis to proactively identify quality process solutions. Provide analysis of data in support of quality and process improvements.**JOB DUTIES:- Creation of control plans- Problem solving- Effective communication- Personnel management- Oversees that the inspection is performed in accordance with the quality plans that have been established.- Works with the SQE to plan quality inspection for suppliers- Develops standard procedures for performance of position activities.- Trains incoming inspectors and technicians- Follows up on all supplier quality problems detected in the incoming inspection.- Reports non-conforming materials to SQE.- Ensures non-conforming materials are properly segregated.- Report supplier performance and quality to management.- Track inventory of nonconforming material for disposition.- Maintains statistical records of incoming inspections and performance of different suppliers.- Reviews in collaboration with Engineering and Production the quality requirements for the introduction of new products and processes, ensuring that new materials are evaluated and approved in accordance with the FA Process (First Article Approval Process).**YOU MUST HAVE:- Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical or Electronics)- At least 5 years of experience related- Advanced English communication skills**WE VALUE:- Hands on work ethic- Out of box thinking- Provide clear and concise communications- Greenbelt Certified- Proficient computer skills- Regulatory experience- Knowledge of six sigma tools- Ability to partner with others on projects- Understanding of quality processes**WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?**:- Great work environment and Resideo benefits area above the law.LI-OnsiteLI-CR1At Resideo, we bring together diverse individuals to build the future of homes.
