Directs and coordinates activities of one or more engineering programs within operations, in support of production and / or in the development of new products for the Business Units. These programs may include Manufacturing/Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Systems, Transfer Processes, Technology Development, Tools (Design, Manufacturing, Assembly, Procurement and Calibration) and Plant/Equipment Maintenance. Manages and works on problems of diverse scope where data analysis requires evaluation of identifiable factors; selects methods and techniques for troubleshooting. Directs and coordinates Engineering Managers to reach production goals / NPI consistent with costs, high quality, profitability, and delivery times required. Interact with the New Product Development process to generate processes and introduce plans for new products.
