You'll find us in automotive factories, packaging systems for the food industry, medical devices, and laboratories.Job Description- Planning, preparation & implementation of complex supplier-related foundry technology, metrology, casting defect detection and rectification, metallurgy -and correction of casting defects processes in coordination with material field purchasing and/or Purchasing Engineering.- Planning, implementation, and further development of suppliers with regard to the application of cost-down projects and efficiency.- Implement on-site foundry technology programs and add these once in operation according to specifications and BU requirements-drawings.- Responsible for supplier selection (Technical project support in terms of new supplier).Qualifications
- Completed training and further education (graduate engineer) in the field of foundry technology and comparable education in ductile & Grey Iron Foundry.
- Strong knowledge of foundry technology, metrology, casting defect detection and rectification, metallurgy -and correction of casting defects.
- First experience in project management.
- First experience in direct material purchasing.
- Core creating production process know-how (Core box-Groning).
- Metallurgy degree.
- Good knowledge of SAP and quality tools (ISO/TS, APQP, PPAP; 8D, FMEA, Control plan).
- Ability to work in a team as Senior Expert, guide people towards solutions, analytical thinking, and high technical communication skills.
- High degree of responsibility and motivation.
- Willingness to travel (up to 50%).
