Sr Supplier Quality Engineer

Major Job Responsibilities:1- Ensure PPAP on time, flawless launch, successful run & rate through rigorous APQP activities.2- Follow AQE standard work.3- Participate in pre-sourcing activities to choose best suppliers.4- Plan for supplier audits per Manufacturing Plant's performance.5- Record & maintain supplier documents in data base.6- Organize and lead supplier conferences for new programs and supplier assessments.7- Coordinate APQP readiness and transition to Manufacturing Plants upon completion of launch period.8- Communicate, elevate and ensure speedy resolution of issues.9-Eliminate/reduce supplier problems cases at launch & production.10- Support special assignments.Major Job Qualifications/Specific Skills:1- Engineering degree2- 1 to 5 years of experience in Automotive Industry (Quality and/or Manufacturing)3- Knowledge in one or more of following manufacturing processes: stamping, machining, molding, powder metal, electronics, die casting, etc..4- Excellent problem solving skills5- Knowledge and experience of AIAG core tools (APQP - PPAP - MSA- PFMEA )6- Able to travel as required7- English proficienta) Self - directed person - highly motivated and strong desire to learn and make things to happen.B) Experience working with suppliers - conducting on site reviews - Audits.C) Well organized, be able to manage complex programsd) Support global strategiesEnglish 90% (Must, only bilingual profiles will be reviewed)Internal Use Only: SalaryGlobal Terms of Use and Privacy StatementPlease access the linked document by clickinghere,
