Position Summary Forcura is a dynamic high-growth SaaS technology company focused on driving efficiency and interoperability for healthcare organizations. The Staff Accountant will be a member of Forcura's Accounting and Finance team. This role will be responsible for assisting with month-end close, preparing journal entries and analysis of monthly financial statements, and ensuring the Company's books and records are prepared in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles ("GAAP"). Job Duties Review, send for approval, and post AP invoices and credit card transactions to ensure proper allocation of expense and set up new vendors accounts Verifies and completes payment of invoices associated with accounts payable Reviews and approves employee expense reports Processes payroll and assists with onboarding new employees Perform weekly/monthly bank reconciliations Ensure accurate calculation and processing of commissions Coordinate with business partners to identify monthly accruals Assists with the completion of monthly financial statement close including month close entries and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, accurate and timely financial statement preparation, and variance analysis over prior periods. Assists with completing external audit and tax reporting by preparing required documentation and collaborating with internal and external partners. Maintain process, policies, and procedures documentation for assigned areas of responsibility Propose suggestions to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Identify potential control weaknesses and suggest solutions to strengthen controls Cultivate a culture of professionalism, collaboration, commitment to exceptional customer service, and rapid response to critical business needs. Cross-train in all functions of the accounting department to ensure proper support at all times Other accounting projects as assigned. Minimum Requirements Minimum of 1+ years of accounting experience in a high growth business or public accounting. Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, CPA track preferred. Strong working knowledge of GAAP concepts, financial reporting, full cycle accounting & month-end close processes. Advanced proficiency in Excel. Working knowledge of accounting software platforms and ability to quickly learn and optimize new technologies, Oracle NetSuite preferred. Strong planning and communication skills, ability to analyze data and to set and manage expectations and deliver projects within the committed time frames. Proven ability to maintain work priorities and flexibility in an environment with multiple concurrent tasks and projects Preferred Qualifications SaaS expertise preferred. Oracle NetSuite preferred. Accounting degree or certificate preferred.
