Staff Accountant - Latam

Job Title: Staff Accountant - Latam Location: Remote (EST Timezone) Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM (EST) Job Description: As a Staff Accountant, you will support our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our transactions.
You'll handle various accounting responsibilities, from managing payables and receivables to maintaining financial reports and interacting with staff and clients.
Key Responsibilities: Accounts Payable : Set up new vendors following internal submissions.
Process freight and supplier invoices.
Manage ACH setups and NACHA file configurations.
Accounts Receivable : Conduct customer credit checks and set up new customer accounts.
Issue invoices and statements to customers.
Follow up on payment status and manage deposits and credit issuances.
Generate financial reports reflecting the business's status and progress.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice-to-Haves: Operational background with an understanding of the business and sales cycle of goods, enhancing your ability to connect financial management with broader business objectives
