Must be able as needed to direct and lead different projects related to equipment.**You will be responsible for**:Under limited supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:- Executes specific automation-related capital projects from design through construction, equipment concept validation and approval.- Perform characterization, qualification and equipment validation activities as needed to bring new automation systems into production.- Evaluates and implements new automation technologies into manufacturing operations; designs, selects, and installs hardware and software upgrades.- Troubleshoots and tests new equipment.- Monitor and analyze data to identify areas of oncoming trouble or opportunities for improvement.- Maintains and administers manufacturing equipment control systems in support of daily process operations.- Execute machine and process improvements on automation systems post-release to support operational objectives in the areas of yield, uptime, reliability, etc.- Write and review documentation (procedures, special instructions, qualification plans and reports, corrective action plans, etc.)- Ensure safe working conditions and practices in the department as well as providing support on the plant safety requirements
