At the Tijuana IT Center of Excellence, you will form part of one of our Scrum Teams that focus on delivering software solutions to multiple Business Partners across Thermo Fisher's divisions worldwide.We are looking to hire individuals with experience in software development and integration, and who can work with us in the next wave of technical challenges using the latest cloud-based, big-data, and rich analytics tool sets.As a Staff Product Owner you will:- Help our Business Partners achieve their goals by being the liaison between your Scrum Team and Stakeholders.- Understand business partner's needs, translate them to Product Backlog Items.- Maintain a clear priority of the Backlog, help your Team plan deliverables, and build Roadmaps and Releases.- Collaborate and influence without formal authority.- Plan, implement, and finalize projects according to scope, schedule and budget.- Coordinate the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver with quality.- Strong understanding and applied experience with Agile development principles.- Ability to multi-task in a very fast- paced environment between multiple projects, as well as provide post-project support.- Good leadership skills, prioritization abilities, ownership and accountability.- Excellent verbal and written communication (English - Spanish).- The ability to plan valuable increments in vertical slices.Minimum Qualifications:- Extensive experience as Product Owner or Project Manager of all phases of technical projects with and Agile mentality.- Scrum Framework.- Scaled Agile Framework.- Knowledge of SDLC practices like TDD, DDD, CI/CD, Swarming.- BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or equivalent technical fields.- Product Owner Certification is a plus.
