Job Overview Main Target of the Regional Sourcing Analyst is strategic and tactical support to Global Sourcing Manager for PCB / PCBA (Assembly). This position will support a global spend of PCB ($50Mil) and PCBA ($140M). This position will be the key focus for to drive and meet KPI for the Americas region and help develop should cost model with Business Unit. The person will support the implementation of global commodity strategy and drive to meet the KPI including productivity, delivery, quality, multi-source, payment terms, VMI, Localization and compliance. The person will be developing saving pipeline, low-cost region suppliers, supplier optimization and lead time reduction. The person aligns strategy and execution with cross-functional partners such as engineering, manufacturing, product management and functional owners. He/she executes the competitive bid, negotiation, contracting processes and/or technical continuous improvement for the PCB & PCBA commodities, collaborating across Business Units and across-regions for optimal TE leverage.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Global Manager for Strategic Sourcing in Corporate unit, the Strategic Sourcing Analyst will be leading the PCB/PCBA Category strategies with the Americas Business Units and cross-functional teams. Drive KPI improvement on productivity, delivery & quality performance, supplier consolidation, multi-source, VMI, localization and payment terms.
The role requires ability to effectively collaborate to develop strategy, preferred supplier alignment and drive execution across the PCB/PCBA commodities, categories, and suppliers in the region. The ideal candidate will have the desire and drive for upward mobility and exhibit the required values, performance, and behaviours to enable such.
Drive innovation sourcing and supplier strategic relationship managementComplete the PCB/PCBA Consolidation Strategy to promote preferred TE Suppliers and leveraging regional and global volumes.Accountable for achieving annual goals for assigned KPIs including cost, quality, delivery, supplier consolidation, multi-source, VMI, Days to Pay, localisation and product compliance on the regional spend of PCB / PCBAEnsure a sustainable pipeline of material productivity initiatives for the business unit/regionCapture the needs of all BUs and fulfil the expectations in commodity related KPIs and service level of internal customers.Ensure suppliers are compliant to global and regional regulatory or legal requirements (RoHS, REACH, Conflict Minerals, etc.).Conduct quarterly business reviews with selected, high-critical set of key suppliersDrive supplier development and performance improvement to meet KPIs and BU technology needsImplement should cost model and fact-based negotiationsUnderstand the regional BU business needs and ensure regional alignment to the global commodity strategiesBe the escalation point for all supply base issues or opportunitiesDrive improvements in the Americas supply base in collaboration with BU functions, Procurement, Quality, Supplier Development, etc, special focus on PCB/PCBA supply base by leading key initiatives Leading the Pre-Sourcing Cross functional Alignment for the Americas Leading the Global Multi sourcing initiative for the Americas, across all BU What your background should look like: Educational Degree Minimum Bachelors degree Professional Experience At least 3 years of experience in global electronic company and procurement experience Ideally Procurement, PCB & PCBA experiences Special Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills Knowledge of PCB & PCBA manufacturing processes and cost driversExcellent problem-solving skills, analytical skills, and communication skills Experience in commodity/material market tracking and analysisStrong project management skills and ability to multi-task Ability to work in a matrix environment with multi-cultural teamsAbility to demonstrate strong customer focus and continues improvement attitudeAbility to form successful working relationships quickly at all levelsAbility to prioritize manage complexity in a fast-paced environmentAbility on managing demanding deadlines and task prioritization.Have knowledge of direct purchasing and technical aspect of commoditiesVery Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, must be a critical thinkerAdvanced knowledge in the use of SAP and Microsoft Office, i.e. Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPointFluent in English both written and spokenOther languages are a plusTime zone flexibility and ability to travel (e.g. 20% mainly regional).
