**This position is responsible for**:
- Ensure compliance with the regulations and policies of CPKC with collaborators, clients, contractors and suppliers.
- Ensure the execution of the preventive maintenance program and inspections of the assigned territory.
- Ensure availability and maintainability of all equipment in the assigned territory according to established objectives so as not to impact the PSR speed.
- Ensure that all preventive and corrective maintenance and rehabilitations comply with the RS&I, the CPKC Field Print Typical Book (Construction Manual) and the AREMA (American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-way Association) standards.
- Analyze root causes of non-routine maintenance and generate actions to prevent its recurrence in accordance with the procedure.
- Plan, organize and prioritize the work in the assigned territory to meet the established objectives.
- Manage human resources, materials, vehicles and equipment assigned to achieve the established objectives.
- Comply with processes and policies for driving a motor vehicle conditioned with Hy Rail.
- Follow the procedures related to your area of responsibility.
- Supervise and follow up the daily activities of the maintenance groups in charge.
- Develop and monitor your staff to achieve the objectives of their positions.
- Supervise the projects of the area to comply with the standards and quality of CPKC.
- Demonstrates customer focus and contingency planning to ensure stakeholder expectations are met.
- Ensure that its collaborators have the certifications required to carry out their functions and that they are up to date.
- Carry out the assignments indicated by their superiors.
- Establish actions to improve safety, quality and productivity.
- Understands the relevant business metrics and applies effective tactics to sustain a culture of operational effectiveness that produces teams of high performing, engaged and empowered operational leaders.

**Required**
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or technical degree, preferably in a mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, electronics and communications field.
- Minimum three (3) years of relevant professional experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Use of a motor vehicle conditioned with Hy Rail.
**Preferred**
- Three years - Advanced knowledge in electricity and electronics.
- Three years or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous Kansas City Southern experience
