RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Supervise Materials associates in the attainment of business goals in, compliance to quality systems, Good Manufacturing Practices, Material control procedures, housekeeping and safety policies.
- Ability to supervise operations in one or more warehouses in one or more facilities
- Supervises process of material management of raw materials, warehousing, replenishment systems management, and finished goods.
- Prioritizes workloads, monitors and adjusts daily work schedules and distributes projects to ensure schedules are met.
- Supports opportunities to improve inventory investment through inventory entitlement model for applicable product lines.
- Participates in development of personnel in department.
- Delegates and supervises work assignments to warehouse personnel ensuring continuous and efficient workflow.
- Works with other relevant departments to coordinate flow of materials or products and for planning proposes.
- Develops and enforces procedures for the safe storage and movement of material in and out of the warehouse. Enforces all safety and environmental regulations.
- Corrects inventory system where errors could affect the replenishment systems, financial position, or overall operation.
- Manage replenishment methods and improvements to reduce inventory investments.
- Assure warehouse complies with all regulatory requirements for logistics processes.
- Communicates with supervisor, vendors, and staff to resolve any problems and/or concerns.
- Provides information assistance for inventory policies and /or procedures.
- Provides support to projects in respective areas as needed.
- Provides support to ongoing initiatives related to safety and ergonomics programs.
- Responsible for materials flow between Warehouse and other Ethicon Distribution Centers and in/out manufacturing
- Work as a liaison between manufacturing, domestic and affiliate ship locations.
- Coordinates physical inventories, cycle counting, surplus obsolete, engineering changes, cancellation activities, projected usage and other inventory planning/and reduction activities.
- Troubleshoots immediate inventory inaccuracies.
- Drives Lean / Six Sigma Improvement Kaizens or Opportunities.
- Manage inventory accuracy objectives by supporting cycle counting process
- Responsible for ensuring the continuous supply of batches required in Mfg. as well as keeping the Vault WIP levels on target assuring a good level of communication between Production planners
- Ensures adequate levels of support are provided for IPT's
- Supervise that all Shipping and Receiving activities and processes in plant are followed according to procedures
- Perform other jobs as required
- Ensure compliance to the quality policy in all activities
- Support and promote the safety and industrial hygiene objectives of the plant
- Drives Warehouse & Vault layout configurations to assure new product or AR transfers into the plant.

**Qualifications**:
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Minimum professional career, preferably in Engineering or related technical field.
- Approximate experience, or equivalent knowledge and skills, necessary to satisfactorily perform the position responsibilities.
- 4 - 6 years of related experience.
- Understanding of FIFO, ABC, MRP and kitting processes
- Data Mining reporting skills through MS-excel (or equivalent)
- SAP or Advanced planning systems (APS/APO) knowledge desired.
- Good communication and analyzing skills.
- Warehouse / Distribution / Logistics previous experience (preferred)
- Strong leadership and customer focused decision-making.
