GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for ensuring that the company complies with all applicable labor regulations, promoting an ethical work environment that respects employee rights.
He/she oversees the implementation of internal policies related to labor legislation, leads audits, and serves as a liaison between the organization and labor authorities.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Under direct supervision of the Human Resources Manager, is responsible for:
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations.
- Supervise and coordinate internal and external labor audits.
- Design and update internal policies aligned with current labor regulations.
- Manage investigations of labor complaints and ensure their proper resolution.
- Act as a representative of the company in inspections, audits or labor disputes.
- Train leaders and employees on labor regulations and internal policies.
- Monitor and report reforms in labor laws and evaluate their impact on the company.
- Implement applicable changes to current processes at Vidrio Decorativo Occidental.
- Prepare periodic reports on the status of labor legal compliance.
ACTIVITIES:
- Develop or review employment contracts, company policies, job descriptions, and employee manuals to ensure their alignment with legal regulations.
- Provide individual contracts to employees.
- Conduct periodic inspections and reviews of human resources processes.
- Coordinate the development of action plans to resolve audit findings.
- Interact with government institutions, unions, and other relevant entities.
- Manage the monitoring and resolution of labor disputes within the organization.
- Discipline management.
GENERALITIES:

- Keep the registered documents with their responsibilities updated at least once a year.

SKILLS AND TECNICHAL KNOWLEDGE:
- Deep knowledge of local, state and national labor laws, as well as international treaties.
- Knowledge of labor audit processes and compliance management systems.
- Analytical skills to interpret legal regulations and propose solutions.
- Ability to lead teams and manage compliance projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced handling of office tools and labor management systems.
- Service attitude.
- Intermediate level Office Software proficiency.
- Knowledge of Systems, computer equipment and networks.
- English speaking
CAREER:
- Bachelor's degree in law, Labor Relations, Human Resources or similar.
- Postgraduate studies in Labor Law or related areas preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in roles related to labor compliance, labor relations or employment law.
- Experience leading audits and handling labor inspections.
- Proven experience of interaction with government authorities and resolution of labor disputes
