**Job Description**:
- Supervises the daily activities of the inventory control staff. Ensures adequate levels of material and product inventories are maintained.
- Responsible for evaluating inventory needs and implementing strategies to meet those needs.
- Supervises work of inventory control employees.
- Research equipment, repair part, allowance, supply, and inventory problems.
- Schedules and revises shipment plans to ensure efficient distribution of products to satisfy customers.
- Analyses inventory levels, production speed and product demand to determine reorder levels which will ensure product availability and minimize inventory costs.
- Develops detailed inventory scenarios and identifies trends.
- Leads evaluation of on-site inventories.
Qualifications:
Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires at least 5 years related experience. Requires strong analytical skills, thorough knowledge of inventory processes and strong command over mathematics and statistical tools used in analysis process. Must be effective in prioritizing activities and addressing details. Must have strong organization and problem-solving skills. Requires extensive knowledge of typical operations in manufacturing organizations and their dependency on the inventory. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to use MS, Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPointy.
