RESPONSIBILITIES: Customer demand plan long term Long term production planning Manage, train and coach Schedulers Organize Continuous Improvement Activities Schedule attainment of production planning Inventory management: accuracy, right safety stock, risk management Monitor special freight costs, root cause analyses, preventive actions to avoid reoccurrence Monitor standardized work of schedulers (e.g., BCAQ usage, delivery performance) Communicate issues in planning and supply to involved departments Coordination of engineering changes, launches, phase out, spare parts Follow up on customer portals and requirements Participate in regional scheduler's network Qualifications EXPERIENCE University Degree with a focus on production and logistics is desired Experience in the automotive sector for at least 5 years Work experience in production planning is needed Minimum of 3 years work experience as Scheduler, Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, Forecast Trends, and Safety Stocks Management Experience with SAP CDP-MM-PP Advanced English language skills are needed Knowledge of APICS Working with customers and suppliers from outside the home country Knowledge and utilization of statistical tools (SPC, Six Sigma, etc.), Decision-making and problem-solving tools (A3, 8Ds) Demand variances allowed under customer's contract Advanced Excel skills.
