**EMPRESA IMPORTANTE*-****Solicita**:**Supplier Quality Engineer****Descripción y Requisitos****Report to: Director of Global Procurement México****PRIMARY RESPONSIBILTIES**The primary duties are (but not limited to) the following:- Cooperate with Sourcing team to secure product/process quality, technical and business requirements- Assess potential supplier in cross-functional team, give guidelines from the perspective of quality tools- Lead and execute supplier audits and technical reviews. Report audit results- Work closely with sourcing team and suppliers to achieve quality targets & objectives, address quality-related issues and drive corrective/preventive actions for continuous improvement- Closely work with BU on quality management and continuous improvement- Identify needs of corrective actions' plans, make solution plan, start and follow up solution plan and monitor the status at suppliers' sites- Maintain and respond to data received from suppliers in relation to Conflict Minerals program- Develop and maintain positive business relationships with partners and internal/external stakeholders participating in the Conflict Minerals program- Ensure accuracy in data maintained on Conflict Minerals in our own systems from our suppliers and/or Customers- Communicate with internal and external partners to provide timely updates and help troubleshoot, resolve and/or escalate any issues within our Conflict Minerals program- Support global trade compliance in terms of not only our Conflict Minerals program, but also in other support roles to assist our global Procurement team- Maintain good system of record-keeping for correspondence and data collected for the program- Maintain professional and skills development as a high priority- Participate in other Corporate initiatives as needed**QUALIFICATIONS**- Bachelor degree in Engineering, experience in Auto/furniture industry is preferred- At least 4 years working experience in engineering area, and 2 years above in supplier quality control- Energetic, self-starter willing to take ownership while serving the needs of business partners- Superior interpersonal and persuasive skills both verbally and in writing - both in English and Spanish- Capable of developing and maintaining collaborative business relationships- Resourceful problem-solver with a strong analytical acumen- Detail oriented with excellent organizational and planning skills- Successful experience of managing quality system improvement is preferred- Understand ISO, and IATF16949 is a plus- Continuous Improvement mindset and able to adapt to changing demands- Good computer knowledge of MS office: Work, Excel and Power Point.
