Supplier Quality Engineer

Coordinates, administers and performs the quality function of an engineering and technical nature to ensure product quality and reliability at minimum quality costs. - Completion and documentation of all phases of the Potential Product Safety Concern (PPSC) process.- Understands Supplier Quality Development KPI's and works with team to meet and exceed.- Implementation of quality standards regarding supplier management- Analysis support in the event of internal/external complaints- Ensuring compliance with currently valid regulations and customer requirements- Monitoring of suppliers with regard to their product quality, production capacity and manufacturing capabilities- Supplier evaluation, implementation of process audits (VDA, SAS, IATF, BBP) at external suppliers- Lead function in the problem-solving process for supplied parts and tracking of corrective measures at the suppliers. Evaluation of the 8D effectiveness- Supplier Development based on the Supplier Improvement Plan (SIP)- Participate in internal/customer audits as needed- Train Quality and Production personnel in Quality requirements relating to supplier managementLI-MGPRIMARY LOCATIONRamos Metals Plant
