In this dynamic role, you will report directly to the Supplier Quality Engineering Manager and provide essential support to our production, engineering, and product development departments.
You will ensure new product parts meet our high standards, evaluate supplier performance, and address any quality issues with suppliers. As the key liaison between suppliers, purchasing, production plants, and product development teams, you'll be instrumental in maintaining seamless communication and collaboration. Additionally, you'll attend receiving inspections to address any raw material quality concerns.
Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication, maintaining a conversation, and also having ease of speech to present virtually or in person in an understandable manner.

ResponsibilitiesEnsures raw materials meet specifications by creating or modifying inspection instructions.Coordinates sample collection with the Supplier Quality Team (SQT).Follows up on Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs).Conducts comprehensive supplier quality audits.Participates in the approval process for new suppliers.Supports Business Restructuring Team (BRT) projects and New Product Introductions (NPIs).Leads quality review meetings with suppliers.Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams including design and development engineering, purchasing, product category management, and new product development.QualificationsA completed University Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Industrial, or Quality Engineering.Over 4 years of experience.Proficiency in English (90%).Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally.Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies, including 8D, Cause & Effect Diagrams, FMEA, SPC, DOE, and GR&R.Experience with GD&T and IPC Criteria.Experience in Process Capability Analysis (PCA).Ability to stay updated with industry best practices.Uses judgment to select methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to achieve desired outcomes.Determines approaches for new assignments and provides guidance to other personnel.Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while comfortably handling general instructions for new tasks.Strong collaboration skills with other departments.Flexible schedule availability.WHO WE ARE Shure's mission is to be the most trusted audio brand worldwide – and for nearly a century, our Core Values have aligned us to be just that.
