The Parts Ordering Analyst will be reviewing obsolescence claims and managing trial orders. Work with purchasing, DCC, inventory control, scheduling, and engineering.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsuring accurate orders and forecasts to production part supply base via parameters maintained in the MRP system.Analyzing reports and maintaining parameters in the mainframe MRP system that ensure the correct flow of material supply to the plant from both domestic and overseas suppliers.Working closely with Logistics, Material Handling, Inventory Control, Scheduling, and Suppliers to understand material supply needs and reflect them in the MRP system.Coordinating the flow of material to ensure it is ordered to meet SOP timing for new models.Working with suppliers to analyze and judge claims for obsolete material.Coordinating occasional supplier workshops to keep the supply base informed on best practices and how best to manage being a supplier to Client.Ensuring that all necessary material is ordered to support new model trial events.New systems development and implementation to improve Parts Ordering productivity and efficiency.Supporting new model launches and balance outs.Minimum Requirements:Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.Past work experience: in roles of supply chain or inventory management.Language: Advanced English (must).Knowledge:Understanding the technical specifications of parts and spare components for accurate management.Proactive engagement with cross-functional stakeholders when SCM questions or issues arise.Ability to prepare clear and concise ad hoc requests for data from management or SCM counterparts.Computer skills: Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint – Advanced.Travel: The first 2 weeks for training at the Smyrna plant in Tennessee. After that, two weeks per year to Tennessee.Competencies:Highly detail-oriented with close attention to data input and output and understands cross-functional data impact.Excellent time management skills with the ability to swiftly navigate tasks with changing priorities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
