Supply Chain Supervisor
Lead, monitor, and support the team
Ensure the team is focused on continuous improvement of processes and attaining KPIs
Promote alignment by understanding and communicating business partner and customer needs and requirements throughout the organization
Major Responsibilities
Ensure team is focused on continuous improvement processes and promote alignment on Department's KPI's.
Elaborate and conduct Performance Reviews, training and development
Manage daily and weekly payroll review and adjustments as well as Overtime Schedule
Provide updates on HR employee rewards programs
Main contact between Sales & Supply Planning on sensitive or urgent issues
Analyze trends on KPI's metrics and Department performance
Monitor, maintain and create measurements to ensure top performance of employees and department goals.
Management responsibilities include: --Responsible for the day-to-day activities and outcomes of a group of employees.
--Addresses issues and/or concerns as part of the escalation process. --Hiring staff, recommending pay increases, performing performance reviews, training and development of staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies.
Minimum Job Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Mathematics, Applied Statistics, or related field.
Work Experience
At least 2 years of experience in operations and/or supply chain.
Experience communicating with internal and external business partners and cross functional teams at various levels. Experience applying concepts of basic algebra and/or statistics.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).
Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Access (for example: designing and creating simple queries, modifying data types, adding dates, working with required fields and/or creating labels).
Preferred Job Requirements
Certification/Licensure
APICS certification.
Work Experience
Experience analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.
Experience interpreting and communicating results of analysis to various audiences.
Experience taking the steps to ensure the assignment/ project is accomplished within tight timeframes.
Experience processing all relevant details, understanding and prioritizing their importance and drawing clear and concise conclusions.
Experience controlling and coordinating concurrent projects, competing priorities and critical deadlines.
Experience communicating with internal and external business partners and cross functional teams at various levels.
