As a Supply Management Planner, you will communicate with suppliers regarding delivery plans. You will expedite direct materials to ensure production runs without disruption. Additional responsibilities include running supplier meetings to review delinquent orders and create delivery plans. Planners have an overarching goal to ensure all parts on their desk have delivery plans in place to ensure production needs are satisfied. In addition, you will:
- Work with Supply Management personnel to maintain supplier relationships, while monitoring, measuring, and defining corrective actions to improve supplier performance.
- Continuously analyze and fulfill past due orders while proactively communicating supply issues, managing multiple requests to ensure continuous supply of material and resolving capacity and material _constraints._
- Resolve shipping and receiving issues to ensure delivery of materials and payment to suppliers, including expediting materials to support production plans and service needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve _processes._
