Overview:
The main role of the Supply Planner is to anticipate and maintain stock levels of finished goods and components by performing routine stock analysis, to keep the company functioning smoothly.
ensuring the stocking levels are financially feasible.
**Responsibilities**:
- Anticipate inventory demand using analytical models and mathematical analysis to determine an average number of finished goods and materials required per time period as well as upcoming sales or promotions which may increase inventory Levels.
- Identify and evaluate forecast demand and project capacity allocation to support the company objectives.
- Determine preferred stock levels and prevent excess inventory
- Determine reorder points to support inventory targets and OTD
- Develop demand and supply plans
- Tracking inventory levels, suggest changes to the upper management.
- Effectively communicate with internal and extern partners, strong and positive relationship with Manufacturing, Procurement, Forecasting, Vendors, IT, and Finance stakeholders
- Create and manage process documentation and all data relevant to Columbus Industries 80/20 classification
- Data management and maintenance in adherence to the business operation
- Manage Obsolescence.
- Ensure SLAs are met through the development of KPIs, alerts and reports required by the business and reports related to supply chain data.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or associates degree preferred in Data Administration, Data Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or 4-6 years of equivalent experience.
- Materials Requirement Planning (MRP)
- Inventory Management
- Production Planning
- Data modeling and analysis experience
- Knowledge and experience with lean manufacturing environments.
- Prior experience with Oracle, JDE is considered an asset
- Vendor Portal experience is considered an asset
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- English 80% at least
