Objective of the position:
Responsible for ensuring compliance with production plans, with the expected quality and low scrap, under authorized procedures and maintaining a productive operation through efficient supervision of direct personnel to meet the standards established in each operation and maintaining a stable work environment through open and direct communication with staff. As well as it ensures that equipment or molds are not run with preventive maintenance or expired calibrations and maintains continuous improvement actions in the concepts of quality, service, and productivity through production boards.
Main activities and responsabilities:
1. Responsible for compliance with Safety, Quality, Service and Cost goals.
2. Responsible for meeting turnover and absenteeism goals through timely execution of motivation, communication and discipline programs, as well as maintaining the daily attendance list for decision making.
3. Responsible for complying with the production plan, Quality, OEE and Scrap on a weekly basis, coordinating and supervising the activities of direct labor, machinery and equipment to achieve efficient use.
4. Responsible for ensuring that equipment and molds comply with their preventive maintenance plans and calibrations.
5. Responsible for supervising that the personnel in charge comply with good manufacturing practices, and for providing timely follow-up to nonconformities that arise during the shift, channeling them to the technical and operational personnel in charge, documenting the actions taken for their resolution. correction and reasoning for the proper disposal of the product.
6. Responsible for supervising that the processes in charge remain stable, producing parts that meet the specification and that the processes are not moved from the set-up or validated parameters.
7. Responsible for the correct flow of materials, as well as their traceability within the area to maintain control over the inventory on the floor and its use.
8. Responsible for the control of crushed resins to ensure a continuous crushing operation, material handling and its flow to the next manufacturing stage.
9. Responsible for complying with the timely and correct delivery of the material kit to the next manufacturing stage or to the Warehouse to ensure continuous operation.
11. Responsible for compliance with the strategy and training route of the personnel under his/her charge to ensure that his/her personnel are properly trained in the basic operations of machines and assembly methods.
12. Responsible for holding work meetings with your staff to report on the area's trend (efficiency, scrap, quality, rotation, absenteeism) and take improvement actions.
14. Participation in Leading and monitoring waste reduction in process. Timely escalate stoppages due to mechanical or mold failures that prevent achieving the production plan.
15. Ensure compliance with EHS guidelines in accordance with established procedures, standards and official Mexican norms.
16. Use the assigned protective equipment and comply with the provisions of point six of NOM-017 and verify its use in the area.
17. Supports compliance with the Quality System through participation in investigations as an owner ensuring that activities related to monitoring an NCR/CAPA are executed, completed and documented correctly.
