**JOB SUMMARY & ACCOUNTABILITIES**:
Provide equipment designs, component selections, and performance information for potential sales. Guide equipment orders through the pre-sale process through production release. Gain proficiency in technical HVAC design skills.
- Provide pre-sale technical support to sales team for customers to review, understand, and develop technical requirements.
- Analyze and determine engineering configurations and changes needed to fulfill customer's requirements for equipment.
- Review final equipment proposals for technical validity, overall solution design, and validation of equipment configurations with the customer and company representative.
- Provide technical planning and project management for assigned projects.
- Provide costing estimates for special features and components that are required for specific projects.
- Coordinate the generation of submittal documentation and other project documentation.
- Assist with definition and implementation of customer witness testing, when required.
- As training and tools become available, provide energy analysis and other total cost of ownership metrics for projects that require it.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Minimum Qualifications**:(education, experience level, knowledge, skills, designations/certifications).
- BS degree in Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
- 2+ years of experience design and engineering for HVAC products
- Thorough understanding of psychrometrics, fan technologies, direct expansion, chilled water, and evaporative cooling technologies.
- Autodesk AutoCAD 2d skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point and Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organization skills, ability to multitask, detail oriented
