We are a purpose-driven company dedicated to transforming lives through the science of food by supporting healthy living, building thriving communities, and caring for our planet.For our Mexico City site in Mexico, we are searching for a Technical Service/Application Specialist.You will provide support to customers in Dairy, desserts, yogurt, and flavoring milk categories and successfully apply our high-performing functional ingredients to new and existing customer portfolios. You will proactively meet and exceed customer expectations using your technical expertise, application and category knowledge, guidance, and advice. You will be hands-on for the full product development lifecycle – from understanding the clients' needs, reviewing processes and formulations, making recommendations for cost saving, developing customer solutions using our innovative ingredients, carrying out trials, presenting findings, and moving from pilot plant production environments through to launch.Key functions and responsibilities:Prioritize and create your own agenda projects, managing efficiently your time and available resources based on company objectives.Collaborate with commercial, marketing, and scientific colleagues to develop and execute technical strategies that will drive growth for our food solutions business.Create the respective technical and follow-up reports using the internal company tools.Utilize laboratory and pilot plant equipment to conduct trials to show performance of our science-based solutions.Keep application and value collection up to date in the systems.Other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in food chemistry, Food Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.Minimum of 3-5 years of related work experience in dairy products (other category experience is a plus).Food manufacturing or application laboratory experience.Proven experience in protocol development.Medium to upper medium English level.Good organizational, planning, and prioritizing skills.Demonstrated project leadership.Preferred Qualifications:3-5 years of experience in a technical role within the food industry.Experience with starches, sweeteners, fibers, or hydrocolloids is desired. Experience in the food industry is required; knowledge and experience in other categories is a plus
