Description:

He/she will coordinate tools build and modification with internal PPIC and or external supplier, complete mechanical adjustment and part fitting of components into tools and fixtures to fit Gages or CMM layouts. Validate with CMM software assamble parts.
The main missions of the role are to:

Making Adjustments to production tooling including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic tooling.
Support Robotic Programers and Controls Engineer to intgrate tooling and achieve dimensional correct sample parts.
May need to manage PPIC and external personnel and equipment (machining center, etc.)
Troubleshooting pneumatic and electric issues on tooling
Reading prints (1st angle projection) and using 3D models to understand how tooling is assembled
Act as the technical correspondent for the tool and equipment suppliers (quotes and technical design analysis).
Able to use CMM software to make dimetional reports (Polyworks desirable)

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have/be:

Knowladeg in GD&T concepts and datum system.
Knowladeg in CAD software
Effective leadership qualities/team player
Travel 30% to 50% of the time (Most local travel)
English basic level, willing to learn
3 years exp. or Technical Service/3 years exp.
Experience in mechanical tooling assembly
Experience in electrical and pneumatics is a plus
Toolmaker experience is a plus
