**About the Role**
The Client Service Analyst provides product support to clients and prospects. Through hands-on training and exposure to MSCI's Private Assets solutions, this individual will gain valuable product and investment knowledge, while building client relationship skills.
This role focuses on Liquid Market and Private Capital data within the Total Plan Manager product (formerly known as the Caissa Platform), which is the MSCI Private Assets investment analytics platform for institutional allocators, with multi-asset class portfolios spanning private equity, hedge funds, public equity, and more. The Client Service Analyst is responsible for managing, reviewing, and resolving fund level data queries in accordance with established service level agreements and precision standards for Total Plan clients.

- Acquire a thorough understanding of the Total Plan Manager platform, as well as the rest of the MSCI Private Assets product suite, and how our products fit into client organizations and their processes.
- Serve as an advocate for MSCI to the client, as well as an advocate for the client within MSCI.
- Coordinate with teams internally to achieve end to end fulfillment of requests. This involves determining and defining each project plan, as well as scoping and objective setting for each client involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Support the smooth execution of clients' transparency data requirements, including managing custom data needs, troubleshooting data latency, data sourcing identification and system technical issues.
- Proactively examine all data, processes, and technologies to evaluate the current state and critical problems for clients.
**Your skills and experience that will help you excel**:
**Experience and Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree (Finance, Economics, or similar field a plus, but not required)
- 1-2 years of finance, accounting, or investment experience
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Portfolio analysis, performance measurement, or domain expertise in investment analytics a plus
- Proficiency in MS Excel a plus
- Progress towards CFA, CAIA, CIPM, or FRM a plus
- Training, consulting, or client presentation experience a plus, but not required
