ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:
Manage imports/exports related to all shipping modes for EM products:Request and validate import documents complying with MX Customs RegulationsCoordinate instructions with Planning, Logistics, ocean carriers, external vendors and manufacturing plantsProvide instructions of customs clearance and maintain closely communication with customs brokerMaintain import customs files as required by law.Manage certificates of origin in compliance with applicable FTA´s.Release SPL blocks from GTS and responsible for IT Ticket request for Descartes updatesManage a post entry audit for US ExportsProvide applicable accounting reports to the Finance team related to foreign trade operations.Review , code and approve brokerage fees from customs brokers for MX, US and CAReconcile MX Import Bank Account for Monthly closing process with Finance QualificationsQualification, Skills & Experience:
Strong knowledge and experience with import-export operations, understanding customs regulations and foreign trade rules3+ years of experience in trade compliance, import/export, and customs regulations Ability to independently plan, organize, control, and coordinate customs operationsAbility to interpret TC regulations and translate them to functional specificationKnowledge in SAP-GTS Knowledge of Free Trade Agreements Audit experience desiredEffective communication skills (oral and written) and be able to influence othersExperience working with different groups and stakeholders in delivering resultsEducation: Bachelor's degree in International Business, Foreign Trade, Supply Chain or Business Administration. Advanced English
