The team's main mission is to ensure that the transportation of raw materials is carried out optimally to supply our assembly plants and our distribution center within the agreed deadlines and while optimizing the costs related to logistics. The department is also responsible for contributing to supporting the logistics teams located in our manufacturing sites with multiple tactical issues.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supporting the implementation of a new transportation system and processes to monitor local transport operations for the first months
Supervising local transportation operations to meet our daily schedule and cost target
Supervising and addressed transportation system alerts with the carriers, shippers & BRP plants
Supervising a team of transport analysts focused on traffic operators
Supervising trailers inventory
Defining and maintain optimal routes in the transportation system
Developing and maintained measures and KPIs to demonstrate your efficiency
Analyzing logistics data and costs to target and seize priority transportation opportunities
Promoting a spirit of continuous improvement to support our Lean Enterprise mission
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
University or college education in engineering, logistics management, administration, or any other relevant field
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing or transportation environment, with relevant experience in inbound logistics (transportation, materials planning, industrial engineering, etc.)
Solid knowledge of Excel (specifically for data processing)
Spoken and written bilingualism (English and Spanish), advanced level (4/5)
Knowledge of Transport and Yard Management Systems (TMS/YMS) and SAP ERP (WM, MM, PP) considered an asset
