.**Snapshot of Your Day**A Mechanical Trainee in a dry type transformer factroy begins their day with a briefing to outline daily objectives and safety protocols, followed by a walkthrough of the production floor to understand the manufacturing workflow. The bulk of the day is spent gaining hands-on experience under supervision, involving tasks such as assisting in the design phase using Creo Pro Engineer software, participating in the assembly of transformer components, and conducting performance tests. The intern also spends time analyzing data, preparing reports, and participating in team meetings to discuss project progress and challenges. Throughout the day, the intern is encouraged to actively learn from experienced engineers, adhere to safety guidelines, and document their learning and observations, culminating in a debrief with their supervisor to discuss progress and future learning objectives.**How You'll Make an Impact**- Planning projects, coordinating activities with counter parts.- Evaluate the technical specifications of customers and current standards to define the dry-type distribution transformer design.- Lead the activities of the product development engineering team based on market demands.- Lead activities for portfolio development and productivity measures.- Proactively support the technical team by analyzing problems and promoting solutions.**What You Bring**- Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, mechatronics and related engineering.- Basic experience with electrical and mechanical design of dry-type distribution transformers.- Basic experience with manufacturing process for distribution transformers.- Team leadership to manage product engineering team tasks.- Proactivity and ability to interface between product engineering and partner departments: production, planning, purchasing, etc.- Experience with technical presentations.- English.**About the Team**Our Grid Technology Business Unit offers customers a broad portfolio of products, systems, solutions and services aimed at the main market trends in digitization, decarbonization, grid stability and electrification.
