**We are searching for the best talent for TRANSPORTATION ANALYST to be in Juarez, Chih., MX, Salvarcar Plant**
**Purpose**:
Plans, schedules, and routes inbound and outbound shipment of freight for border operations. Coordinates with carriers and follows up with shipment processing to ensure efficient, timely and least expensive movement of goods and material. Monitors transportation methods and routes.
**You will be responsible for**:
Under limited and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:
- Schedules and monitors all border logistics operations in the US and Mexico.
- Coordinates all import and export operations for warehouses, sterilization sites and External manufacturers.
- Partners with RTO Corporate Logistics to support US supplier operations and service, such as container idling.
- Ensures transportation resources meet all local and government requirements, such as trailer container conditions and maintenance.
- Ensures transportation service providers that require access to J&J facilities are appropriately trained and have the necessary equipment and accesses in partnership with EHS, Security and Warehouse teams.
- Manages Claims and Material Non-Conformance investigations, documentation and closures for local transportation providers.
- Analyzes transportation planning opportunities to reduce transportationcost.
- Verifies purchase order or bill information to enable freight charges to be paid and entered in the correct budgets.
- Interfaces with various groups including Materials / Planning and plant production departments and monitors orders from start to finish to ensure on time delivery of products.
- Prepares for carrier contract negotiations conducting research into transportation spend and supplier rates.
- Collects and accumulates data and statistics used in monthly reports and carrier performance
reports.
- Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management
level.
- For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable.
- Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Performs other duties assigned as needed.

- University/Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
- Generally, Requires 2-4 Years Work Experience
- Experience in the Medical Device industry or medical field
- Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing principles and practices, andprocedures
- Experience using medical device equipment
- Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse clientele base
- Experience maintaining ledgers and other fiscal documents
- Ability to work cooperatively with coworkers and the public
- Ability to perform duties in accordance with policies and procedures and in to
comply civil rights requirements
- Broad-based understanding of business operations and practices
- Some operations and supply chain experience desired
- Strong leadership, communication, influencing, and collaboration arerequired
- Able to prioritize requests, and propose effective cost/customer service alternatives when necessary
- Ability to show strategic thinking
- Strong project management skills
