**Job Title: Trilingual Translator (Spanish, English, Mandarin Chinese)**
**About the job**
Foxconn needs a trilingual translator to join our Mexico site to help the day-to-day operation among team members. The translator needs to have an in-depth understanding of the automation industry form using, be comfortable with ambitious schedule commitments, in a highly dynamic environment, and involve multiple diverse teams spread around the world. They must be comfortable interacting with and driving various functional teams and individuals at all levels of the organization in order to be successful!
**This position is based out of San Jeronimo, Chihuahua, Mexico, just across the U.S. border, remote is not an option.**
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide accurate and efficient translation and interpretation services between Mandarin, English, and Spanish languages.
- Assist in facilitating meetings, conferences, and training sessions by providing simultaneous interpretation.
- Act as a liaison between different departments, teams, and international clients, ensuring effective communication and understanding.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate technical terms and industry-specific jargon related to manufacturing and automation production.
- Assist in the development and implementation of multilingual communication strategies to support international projects and initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, terminology, and developments to ensure accurate translation and interpretation services.
- Provide cultural insights and sensitivity to help bridge communication gaps and foster a collaborative work environment.
**Job Requirements**
- Fluent in Mandarin, English, and Spanish languages, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills in all three languages.
- Proven experience as a translator or interpreter in the manufacturing industry, preferably with a focus on automation production.
- Strong knowledge of technical terminology and concepts related to manufacturing, automation, and robotics.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with individuals from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in translation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and translation software/tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
