.Overview:The **University Relations & Early Careers Talent Advisor** will contribute to GM Financials' Talent Acquisition Strategy in Latin America, by identifying and building strategic partnerships externally with academic institutions, community, and diversity organizations. This role will support the Talent Acquisition Senior Manager internally with business leaders and hiring managers to determine the most relevant outreach plan, ultimately delivering a viable talent pipeline for the business.Responsibilities include tracking and reporting on key metrics, supporting process improvements, participating in recruiting and HR effectiveness initiatives, and building strong relationship with universities, post-graduate institutions and diversity organizations.**_This role will support on fixed term contract for 12 months. _****Responsibilities**:- Develop and maintain relationships with the following people or groups: academic faculty; career office employees; students, and community organizations- Plans, organizes, and executes recruiting events at target schools including presentations, career fairs, and interviews with the support of local Talent Acquisition advisors in country.- Drives the deployment of additional resources to support recruiting events and activities by utilizing alumni, GMF employees, and other members of the business.- Conduct and participate in phone and face-to-face interviews.- Manage the presentation, interview process, offer, negotiation, closing and administrative components involved in full life cycle recruiting for assigned roles.- Support the sourcing and talent pipeline of early career entry jobs across Latin American Markets, through LinkedIn and other job boards.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in business administration, psychology, education, or related field.- 3+ years of experience in recruiting activities (preferably in university recruiting and early career programs).- Experience with establishing university networking.- Experience with talent sourcing and pipelining strategies.- Experience counseling hiring leaders and support organizational goals.- Strong interest in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives.**Skills Knowledge**- Excellent consultative, communication, interpersonal and networking skills are a must.- Ability to work independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations and make sound decisions while meeting time sensitive deadlines.- Proven success with participating in small, medium, and large-scale talent acquisition projects.- Excellent organization and time management skills with ability to multi-task and meticulous attention to detail.- Strong technical aptitude: ability to navigate multiple systems such as the Google platform and all social sourcing tools in addition to Windows operating systems, Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
