In this role, you will grow the revenue of pre-sold excursions, transfers and other destination services through consortia, Travel agents, on/off-line agencies, call centers and third party businesses, increase Amstar/Worldstar Brand and product awareness, maintain and update existing travel agent affiliate profiles, increase and improve travel agency satisfaction with Amstar,assist, plan and conduct ALGV/AMR Fam Trips to AMS destinations.**Responsabilities**- Develop new and maintain existing relationships with the Travel Agency community.- Conduct outside sales calls single & joint with ALGV / AMR Partners by conducting Webinars and Presentations.- Participate in Trade Shows, Conferences and destination blitzes to further ongoing Travel Community education and product awareness.- Educate the Travel Community on AMS products and services.- Conduct training on Amstar existing and new products and services to the ALGV, AMResorts and UVC Call Centers.- Negotiate Sales Agreements with targeted agencies.- Act as facilitator between Travel Agent Community and AMS in regards to commission issues.- Act as facilitator between Travel Agent Community and AMS in regards to service complaints.- Act as facilitator between Travel Agent Community and AMS in regards to FIT and Leisure Groups pricing requests.- Act as facilitator between Travel Agent Community and AMS in regards to Site Inspections and Fam Trips.- Accurately report current market competitiveness and trends.- Submit weekly sales activities via MARGOT.- Research account past due commission issues and provide immediate solutions to all accounts, working hand in hand with the Accounting team.**Requirements**:- Bachelor's Degree in Business / or the equivalent experience- Bilingual English / Spanish- 4 years' experience in travel industry, sales experience and Business support- Knowledge: Dynamics of the Travel Industry, strong business acumen.- Skills:- Written and verbal communication- Microsoft office- Problem solving- Excellent research skills- Negotiation techniques**About Apple Leisure Group**As North America's only vertically integrated travel, hospitality and leisure management group, Apple Leisure Group is an industry innovator that combines the expertise of 14 leading brands.
