**About Latinas in Tech**:Latinas in Tech is a non-profit organization with the aim to create a tech industry where Latinas are well-represented throughout all levels of the ecosystem by empowering them to be innovators and leaders. Our mission is to provide the resources, opportunities and community Latinas need to thrive, innovate and lead in tech. We are seeking a talented UX/UI Designer to join our Product Department and play a key role in enhancing the digital experience for our users.We are looking for an experienced UX/UI Designer with 3-5 years of experience in digital product design, preferably with expertise in website design, gained through both in-house and agency settings. As a UX/UI Designer in our Product Department, you will be responsible for providing functional and visually appealing solutions for our website(s).**Your duties will include**:- Executing user research methodologies to identify, validate, and prioritize opportunities for improvement and optimization of our website(s).- Defining models such as scenarios, empathy maps, user personas, or customer journeys to empathize with our users.- Articulating and defending design decisions to your direct manager.- Designing new functionalities proposed by the business development team, considering architecture, navigation, usability, and user flows.- Assisting in maintaining brand visual consistency across all projects.- Creating and managing design systems.- Designing solutions using Figma or directly implementing designs in WordPress, depending on the project requirements.**Requirements**:- 3-5 years of experience in designing websites.- Attention to detail.- Sensitivity to brand visual consistency.- Proficiency in Figma.- Proficiency in WordPress + Elementor.- Proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop.- Intermediate level of English proficiency to communicate effectively with the team.**Nice to Have**:Knowledge of programming languages (not mandatory but advantageous).If you are a creative problem-solver with a passion for creating exceptional user experiences and are looking to make a positive impact within a dynamic non-profit organization, we encourage you to apply.Please submit your resume, portfolio, and a cover letter detailing your relevant experience and why you are interested in joining our team.
