**Value stream supervisor is accountable for maintaining a productive, efficient, quality-oriented, and safe work atmosphere on its value stream. It´s expected to lead the value stream to accomplish the commitments with quality and on time. Focus on continues improvement to optimize the use of the resources available and eliminate wastes. Launch new products. Manages a team of Production supervisors and Manufacturing engineers.****Essential Duties & Responsabilities**- Follow up on value stream open items and expedites- Understands using lean manufacturing methodology (5S, Kanban, Six Sigma, FIFO, etc.).- Drive new product launches- Communicate all new or revised policies, procedures and /or processes to team members to ensure they have the most up-to-date and current information.- Serve as a resource and content expert to team members providing guidance and being available to answer questions to clarify work processes and functions.- Create opportunities for team members to provide input on procedures/processes, improvement ideas, and share their expertise with them.- Will have meetings with team leaders to coordinate production schedules as needed.- Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules and customer demands.- Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.- Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of departments or work crew.- Analyzes and resolves work issues while assisting team leaders/workers in solving work problems.- Help to implement and enforce company policies.- Develops capital equipment justifications for machine tools and process technology to improve quality, cost, and cycle times- Guarantee ethical practices among the work team, fostering respect, tolerance, inclusion and communication, and following up on any offense against these values that has been observed, reported to or escalated to the position in regards to the Psychosocial Risks Prevention Policy, the Protocol to Attend Work Violence Reports and any other applicable regulation.Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSalario: A partir de $30,000.00 al mesHorario:- Diurno
