.**JOB DESCRIPTION****Organizational** **Information****Profile** **Information****Departament**:Production**Age**:Indistinct**Position**:**Value** **stream** supervisor****Gender**:Indistinct**Experience**:5 years +**Scholarship**:Bachelor's degree**Schedule**:Mon-Fri / 8:00 - 5:30**Languages**:English Proficient**Job **Summary****Minimum** **Qualifications** & **Requirements****Value stream supervisor** is accountable for maintaining a productive, efficient, quality-**oriented,** and safe work atmosphere** on its value stream**.****It´s expected to lead the value stream to accomplish the **commitments **with** **quality and on time.****Focus on continues improvement to **optimize the use of the resources available and eliminate wastes.****Launch new products**- **Strong leadership, organizational, and planning skills, independent thinker, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.**:- **Ability to lead people in obtaining a common goal while maintaining a positive atmosphere with the work group.**:- **Strong **problem-solving** skills.**:- **Ability to multitask and prioritize daily and weekly workload.**:- **Ability to effectively present information in a one-on-one and small group setting to customers, employees, and other corporate/executive officials.**:- **Ability to **set and follow working systems.****Essential** **Duties** & **Responsabilities**- Understands using lean manufacturing methodology (5S, Kanban, Six Sigma, FIFO, etc.).- Follow up on value stream open items and expedites- Drive new product launches- Communicate all new or revised policies, procedures and /or processes to team members to ensure they have the most up-to-date and current information.- Serve as a resource and content expert to team members providing guidance and being available to answer questions to clarify work processes and functions.- Create opportunities for team members to provide input on procedures/processes, improvement ideas, and share their expertise with them.- Will have meetings with team leaders to coordinate production schedules as needed.- Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules and customer demands.- Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.- Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of departments or work crew.- Analyzes and resolves work issues while assisting team leaders/workers in solving work problems.- Help to implement and enforce company policies
