This role is responsible for leading processes and projects that develop and drive labor strategies to support HP's global workforce needs, contributing to effective workforce evolution and agility.
**Responsibilities**
- Leads strategic workforce planning projects and processes, working with leadership across the organizations (business, HR, finance, etc.)
- Works on complex problems leveraging statistical/financial models to evaluate workforce metrics and/or complete in-depth evaluations of multiple factors, resulting in recommendations and strategic insights.
- Evaluates workforce plans, trends, identifies gaps, and proposes solutions to HR and business management.
- Assists with the implementation and management of reporting efforts, including creating dashboards, manager reporting suites, and ad hoc analysis.
- Supports and engages in the hands-on development of new technology enhancements which improves workforce productivity.
- Creates and establishes continuous improvements in headcount forecasting, translating those results into higher workforce productivity.
- Collaborates across the company to ensure workforce related data integrity.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in human resources, business administration, project management, or a related field.
- Typically 6+ years of proven experience in workforce planning & management, people analytics, project management, and/or a related field.
- Proficient in PowerPoint (executive presentations), Excel (pivots, advanced formulas), Power BI development, SQL and/or Python (programming language).
- Strong knowledge and skills in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with different levels of stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle ambiguity and uncertainty.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and multitask in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
