Under the direction of the Yard Manager, the **Yard & Logistics Worker **coordinate** **safely delivery, consigned equipment for the auctions. Strict adherence to the Ritchie Bros. standard of customer service is expected of the Yard & Logistics Worker at all times.
No auction experience is needed to work in this role! Lots of hands-on training will be provided.
- In this position you'll:_
- Monitor the shipments from departure to arrival at the port and at the site.
- Report ETAs to port & yard.
- Confirm open windows for delivery.
- Arrange transloading & containers relocation.
- Schedule appointments with each site to deliver containers.
- Maintain continued and effective communication with Agents, Freight Companies and auction sites.
- Coordinate maritime and land operations.
- Prepare and send import/export quotations to internal and external customers.
- Report & record daily status of shipments.
- Ensure commercial invoices, packing lists and the import certificates match with the equipment description, make, model & serial number and the contracts.
- Prepare customs letters.
- Approve pedimentos.
- Review customs broker´s expense reports.
- Prepare purchase orders.
- Scan shipping documents.
- Supervise safety unloading in the Polotitlan yard.
- Update customers in real time on their shipments.
- Communicate effectively about arrivals and dispatches to internal areas.
- Provide timely solution to problems with shipments.
- Continuous improvement of the procedure.
- Provide excellent service to internal and external customers.

- Experience in international logistics with respect to storage, transportation, and distribution of machinery.
- Problem solving.

- This job will require you to:_
- Valid driver's license
- No criminal record
- U.S. Visa desirable
- Occasionally work overtime and some weekends for auction events.
