We are currently on the lookout for a skilled Lead Joining Engineer to enhance our engineering team.
In this role, you will be responsible for: - Be the local specialist who gives input to vision, manufacturing technology roadmap and areas/objects/ideas for technology development.
- Support implementation of new technology in local plant.
- Highlight training needs and contribute to training documentation in the area of new Manufacturing Technology.
- Review product and process roadmaps.
- Provide local input/ideas to manufacturing technology roadmap based on local needs.
- Contribute to the development of new manufacturing technology, methods and equipment.
- Secure the implementation of new technology, methods and equipment in the local plant.
- Contribute to Technical sign-off to verify technical implementations is according to master process and/or developed technology solution.
Requirements To succeed in the Lead Joining Engineer position, candidates should meet the following requirements: - Engineering degree, with focus on process, chemical, mechanical, electrical or automotive engineering, production, or relevant experience in a Paint Shop.
- Experience in process improvement, material development, production implementation and Lean management positions in the industry, preferably in automotive production, planning or maintenance.
- Experience working in an automated manufacturing environment and managing robots.
- Ability to work independently, with good level of problem solving and communication skills.
- Pronounced quality awareness with a flair for dealing with people.
- Advanced English.
