**Requirements**:
ALTEN is seeking a dedicated **Production Engineer BIW (Body in White)** to join our dynamic team in Saltillo, where you will be integral to the manufacturing process of vehicles.
In this role, you will work with various engineering teams to ensure optimum production quality and performance.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assure product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished
- product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes
- Check feasibility of product changes, e.g.
engineering changes, face lift and continuous changes and coordinate implementation in series production on schedule
- Prepare planning options, evaluate cost-efficiency and provide analysis of both
- Write spec books; request and evaluate supplier quotations
- Manage complex projects; coordinate suppliers on and off site
- Technical acceptance of large equipment/installations
- Plan workplaces considering ergonomics
- Take part in continuous improvement process to optimize manufacturing efficiency
- Develop planning standards, methods, and procedures
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field).
- +5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive sector.
- Strong knowledge of Body in White production processes.
- Experience with process optimization and quality management systems.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficient in the use of engineering software and tools.
