**Summary**:
**Detailed Description**:
Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

- Works to ensure export shipments and documentation are in compliance with applicable customs law.
- Acts as a liaison with customs offices.
- Collects and analyzes logistics data for trends and potential cost savings.
- Evaluates and selects carriers for shipment of product.
- Analyzes freight data for internal and external charges. Interfaces with customers to identify billing information.
- Responsible for process development and reengineering related to border crossings.
- Provides leadership, expertise, guidance and training to the supply chain, commodity, procurement and program management functions, ensuring that the latest practices and procedures are followed.
- Interfaces with various levels of Celestica management to ensure processes are in place and working such that we maintain compliance with Logistics processes.

**Knowledge/Skills/Competencies**:

- Good knowledge of an electronics manufacturing environment, material and processes.
- Expert understanding and interpretation of traffic and customs rules and regulations.
- Good understanding of internal and external customer requirements.
- Good financial, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Good understanding of cost impacts related to logistics services
- Ability to perform cost benefit analysis across various modes of transportation
- Ability to identify and resolve high complexity process/system problems using financial, analytical, and/or statistical models.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy and working under tight time deadlines.
- Ability to evaluate, prioritize and problem solve a variety of tasks to ensure their timely and accurate completion.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external customers.
- Ability to effectively communicate in both English and Spanish

**Physical Demands**:

- Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
- Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
- Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
- Occasional travel may be required.

**Typical Experience**:

- Three to six years of relevant experience.

**Typical Education**:

- Bachelor's degree in related field, or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Educational requirements may vary by geography.
