SummaryDetailed DescriptionPerforms tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
Develops and implements new systems and processes to support SCM business requirements.Leads or participates in the implementation of ERP/decision support systems and solutions.Designs and documents specifications for new systems, system enhancements, or interfaces.Works with IT to develop and implement programs.Provides system, process, and training support for new acquisitions in areas of database development, e-commerce, warehouse integration, and new logistics processes.Maintains processes that ensure the accuracy of ERP systems.Conducts training on processes and procedures that affect data integrity.Reviews, recommends, and implements enhancements/new systems required by business.Implements and ensures adherence to SCM policies and practices.Coordinates site internal audits to highlight issues, assist in audit readiness, and ensure corrective action plans.Broad knowledge of an electronic manufacturing environment, materials, and processes.Strong knowledge of SCM and manufacturing processes and ERP applications.Good knowledge of IT tools and systems - awareness of new tools and tech.Strong process and application analysis, design, and requirements definition.Good project management and leadership skills.Strong facilitation, teaching, and presentation skills.Knowledge of adult education concepts and techniques.Ability to identify and resolve complex process/system problems using financial, analytical, and statistical models.Ability to evaluate, prioritize, and problem-solve a variety of tasks to ensure their timely and accurate completion.Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external customers.Physical DemandsDuties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.Frequent overnight travel may be required.Typical ExperienceThree to six years of relevant experience.Typical EducationBachelor's degree in related field (Materials Management, Engineering, or Business), or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
