.Req ID: 116990Remote Position: HybridRegion: AmericasCountry: MexicoState/Province: Nuevo LeonCity: Monterrey**General Overview**:**Functional Area**: SCM - Supply Chain Management**Career Stream**: CMT - Commodity Management**Role**: Manager 2**Job Title**: Commodity Management Manager 2**Job Code**: MG2-SCM-COMM**Band**: Level 10**Direct/Indirect Indicator**: Indirect**Summary**:**Detailed Description**:Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:- Manages, advises and guides regional commodity teams for allocation of constrained commodities.- Identifies supply vs demand profile for all allocated products within Celestica and proportion by customer and geography and communicate allocation.- Resolves critical shortages that have been escalated and work with senior executives of suppliers to increase supplier support of products.- Consolidates and reports customer service or revenue impacting items and ensure no impact to Celestica in the marketplace.- Manages team for establishing rapid component sourcing for new program introduction and inter-site product transfers across defined geography.- Meets aggressive time schedules despite conflicting site priorities.- Develops new strategic processes, systems and a toolset to facilitate the sourcing process while maintaining strict controls.- Directly manages a group of SCM employees or managers.- Maintains responsibility for employee training, performance, measurement, development, motivation and recognition.- Establishes department goals/ measurements and manages resources to achieve this goals.- Drives continuous improvements of SCM function through interactions with other departments.**Knowledge/Skills/Competencies**:- Expert knowledge of the marketplace conditions for broad range of strategic commodities.- Excellent knowledge of Celestica's global supply chain including strategic policies and objectives.- Good understanding of global business environment and Customers business, organization, products and processes.- Strong knowledge of office systems and analytical tools.- Ability to lead complex negotiations effectively.- Expert knowledge of best of breed sourcing practices and methodologies.- Strong ability to work effectively across functions and with Customers/Supplier to achieve Celestica's goals.- Ability to evaluate, prioritize and problem solve a variety of tasks to ensure their timely and accurate completion.- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external customers.- Ability to effectively lead, manage, train and motivate a diverse group of employees.**Physical Demands**:- Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.- Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.- Repetitive manual movements (e.G., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required
